One line

A meditation timer built for practice rather than distraction — no library, no subscription, no data collected — rebuilt from scratch for iOS 27 by the solo designer and developer who has maintained it since 2011.

One Paragraph

Lotus Bud Meditation Timer has been on the App Store continuously since 2011, built and supported the entire time by one person for his own daily practice. Version 3.0 is a complete ground-up rebuild for iOS 27. It is deliberately a tool rather than a distraction: no guided content library, no social features, no music — nothing between the practitioner and the cushion. The app collects no data whatsoever, has no accounts, syncs through the user's own iCloud, and sells a single $6.99 US unlock rather than a subscription. Version 3 adds a complete redesign, Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, Live Activities with Dynamic Island, Siri Shortcuts for every session control, an Apple Watch app, a simplified Assistive Access experience, and on-device Apple Intelligence that drafts meditation plans and suggests note tags from the user's own history.
